The 27th Annual Duck Derby will be held on September 10th from noon to 5 pm.

Location:  Canalview Park (Behind the Tavern on the Lock)

Charby's Duck Derby

Duck Derby Fulton Lion's Club

Founded in 1989 by Lion Past President Don Charbonneau, this event is held each year just after Labor Day at the Canal Park (behind the Tavern on the Lock Restaurant).  Tickets are sold at a cost of $5.00 per duck ($25 for 6) with each ticket assigned a duck number.  The number is placed in turn on a plastic duck.  At 4:00 p.m. on derby day, thousands of these ducks are dumped into the Oswego River Canal.  They are then floated to a finish line where winners are drawn in sequence.  The first duck to cross the finish line wins a first prize of $2,000 with approximately thirty additional prizes awarded. We also sell food, pull-tabs and run raffles throughout the day.  Entertainment is provided. It is a great end of the summer party.
